An oak parquet floor-the unifying element in Paolo Moschino's London home

There certainly are a lot of celebrities that have a good taste in interior design and there is no doubt that designer Paolo Moschino is one of them.Born and raised in Italy but living in London in a beautiful apartment near Victoria Station,no one expects anything less that perfection from him when it comes to interior design. He has created numerous comfortable and timeless designs inspired by fabrics, accessories and the motto''no room is a lost cause''.

For his London home,he kept original only the 19th-century cornices and an oak parquet floor, which was hidden under old carpets. The floor needed some wood floor restoration but apart from that it was a very well preserved old addition to the house.

Every apartment has it's own unifying elements,in this case the parquet flooring and the collection of Jean Cocteau work. The large mirrors around the house double the size of the rooms according to Moschino.
